Oh MY!! I know...I know I have not posted since OCTOBER!! Brad uses the computer alot this time of year, calculating acerage and yeilds and a bunch of other farming stuff, so he takes it with him. Sooo... I have asked Santa for my own computer...we shall see. :)
This is going to be a catch you up post....beware it may be very LONG!! My New Years resolution....Post at least once a week. HA!
SO much has been going on at the Templeton household!! We had Halloween, which was Kase's 1st so he didn't really care (although he was a cute little monkey)! But I must say this is Slade's FAVORITE! No lie he started looking for costumes in August. It was such a hard decision for him...I guess because this was the 1st time he could pick out his own. He finally decided on a vampire. He is so into monsters and trolls and gremlins (I am thinking it must be a boy thing)! Truthfully.. I did not mind having my own "little Edward Cullen" around. :)
One of my very BEST friends and very 1st friend from the nursery at church, married her soul mate on November 21st. We had lots of celebrations and showers. I must say it was the most fabulous wedding I have seen yet. She looked like a princess and I am so happy that she found her prince! May God bless them and guide them through this new journey. CONGRATS to Austin and Dana Waits.
Then we had Thanksgiving. We had so many things to be thankful for in 2009. Let me see... the one thing that comes to mind is...Kase Bishop!! What an amazing addition he has been to our family. I love how our GOD hand picks and places the most perfect children into our life. Kase Bishop has been a pure joy to my heart. He continues to take my breath away with everything he does. He has had many 1st since I last posted. He had his 1st "roll" on October 14th and now is rolling and scooting all over the place. He also started on foods last month. His favorites are squash, sweet potatoes, apples, bananas, and prunes. He also has started drinking water from a sippy cup at meal times. He is grabbing and reaching for everything! And OH how he adores Slade. If Kase is fussy, Slade can walk in the room and he immediately stops. He watches every move Slade makes. It is absolutely precious!
We took Kase for his 4 month check up on December 7th (which I know was a month late)!! Our 5 month old baby boy weighed in at 18lbs 6oz and was 28 inches long! WOW! After that we took the boys to see Santa.
Well that's all for now but I will have to tell you about our newest addition to our house. Hopefully tomorrow I can do that.
